The Ventoux truffle Museum

The Mount Ventoux is a land of tastes and traditions.

For centuries, people have been harvesting truffles from the Mount Ventoux sides.

The black truffle, coming from the ground, mysterious and magical, has been fascinating people since the Antiquity.
Here, we call it "rabasse".

In Monieux, in the middle of the Ventoux area, you can discover the black truffle: an exhibiton, pictures, items are held for you to get to know the product's story, origins and different maneers of harvest, and the meeting point between the "rabasse" and cuisine.
